01Introduction
At DragMotion (dragmotion.com), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it when you use our website and our products: DragMotion packs and extension, DragFlow, DragGuide and ZXP Magic.
02Data We Collect
We collect only what we need to run your account and our products:
- Account data: name, username, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and your plan.
- Purchase data: the packs, plans and licenses you buy and their status. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy; we never receive or store your card details.
- Device data from our extensions: when you sign in to the DragMotion, DragFlow or DragGuide extension, it sends a random device ID it creates, your computer's name and operating system, the network adapter's MAC address and a one-way hashed hardware identifier (the original hardware ID is never sent). We also record when each computer last signed in.
- Product usage: DragFlow records which tool ran and the length of the video it ran on, to count credits, and the answers you give to its feedback questions.
- Support messages: what you write to us through the contact form or by email.
- Website usage (only if you accept analytics cookies): the pages you visit, how you reached them, your approximate location (country or city), and your device and browser type, collected by Google Analytics.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs, used for security.
03Your Media Stays on Your Computer
Our extensions work inside Adobe Premiere Pro on your computer. DragFlow's captions, silence detection and other tools run locally: your video and audio files are not uploaded to our servers.
04How We Use Your Data
- Accounts and access: to sign you in, deliver downloads, licenses and updates, and give you the packs and tools your plan includes.
- Device limits and security: device data lets us apply the device limit of your plan, show you your computers in your profile, and prevent account sharing and abuse of free plans and credits.
- Support: to help with technical issues and answer your messages.
- Emails: account, security and purchase emails, which we always send. We also email you when a product you use gets a new version, when a pack is added or updated, and now and then with news and offers. Every one of these emails has a one-click Unsubscribe link.
- Improving the website: with your consent, we look at aggregated statistics from Google Analytics, such as which pages are visited most, to improve the site.
05Data Security and Third-Party Sharing
Payment Processing: Lemon Squeezy processes payments under its own privacy policy.
No Data Selling: We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Service Providers: we share data only with providers that help us run the service and keep it confidential: Hetzner (server hosting), Resend (email delivery), ImprovMX (forwarding of mail sent to our @dragmotion.com addresses), Lemon Squeezy (payments), GitHub (software downloads) and Google (website analytics, only with your consent).
06Cookies
Our website uses two kinds of cookies:
- Necessary cookies and local storage keep you signed in and remember your preferences. They are always on; if you disable them in your browser, signing in will not work.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics help us understand how the site is used. They are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Google Analytics is set up without advertising features, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and the analytics cookies already set are removed. We do not use advertising cookies. Our Premiere Pro extensions do not use Google Analytics.
07Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists and as long as needed for legal, accounting and security purposes. Device records you remove from your profile are deleted.
08Your Rights (GDPR and KVKK)
Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- The right to access the data we hold about you.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate data.
- The right to request the deletion of your data and account ("the right to be forgotten").
- The right to stop announcement and marketing emails at any time, with the Unsubscribe link in any of them.
To use these rights, email support@dragmotion.com from the address on your account.
09International Transfers
As DragMotion operates globally, your data may be processed on servers located outside of your home country. We ensure that all data transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.
